If your grand-dad (for Bill, it was Mr. Maxwell from his mother’s side, founded National Bank of Washington in 1907) prepared you millions of trust funds the day you were born into this world, and your mom happened to sit on the board of United Way together with the former CEO of IBM, etc………you probably would become a Bill Gates too, at least at a very higher possibility

People have been born richer and more well connected than Bill Gates. He may have had advantages but he deserves a lot of credit in taking up opportunities and having amazing business sense that made him the richest man in the world, a spot he has held for nearly a decade. The person has tremendous business acumen.

Irrespective of his advantages at birth the article here tries to get Investment ideas from Bill Gates (and his research/analyst team at Cascade Investments). It’s just a starting list that people can research into to find possible stocks to invest.
